End of November Update

 Hello All!

This month has been a mixed bag, and thus my mental/emotional schedule has been all out of alignment. I took the first two weeks of the month off from reading and struggled to get back into it. An avid recommendation pulled me out of the slump and I was able to turn around and write a post pretty soon thereafter finishing the book.

I decided to read a few medium sized books this month instead of one large and some small books to keep my motivation up. This seemed to work well and keep me motivated to keep reading.

There is something I need to address, and maybe you've experienced it, too. My head and heart are still in the Scythe universe. My mental state still resonates with the duties of being a scythe and how the fictional world works/worked. I cannot escape and honestly, I do not want to. I think I felt similarly after the Hunger Games trilogy and maybe even after the Divergent trilogy. These books all hold such an important role in how I view the world and it seems to take a long time for me to let go. Have you felt this way before?

Thank you for existing in this space with me, I appreciate your presence.

Happy Reading, Bookworms,

Sarah
